She later returned to Argentina and studied Political Science at the Universidad del Salvador. When she was fifteen, she moved to Germany to finish high school. Her father, Raúl Carrizo, was twice member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies for the UCR. Carrizo was born on 6 August 1966 in Quilino, a small town in the Ischilín Department of Córdoba Province.
